What is ISO?

International Organization for Standardization is a non-governmental organization with more than 160 member countries. ISO defines different standards following the sharing and exchange of knowledge gained, voluntary improvements by member countries and arriving to a consensus. The standards, thus arrived, help in facing global challenges and support innovations.

Though, ISO is the agency defining standards, it by itself does not conduct auditing and certifying activities. Instead accredited certifying bodies like ours, ACM shall do these activities.
